Session 9

More than 120 students of Grade 8 from the Valley Public School, Panchet, were a part of this thought-provoking session. We want to thank Mr. Basudeb Mahato, the Principal of the school, for making this possible, providing us with a venue, and helping with logistics. Credits for the session are due to the Financial Literacy Booklet tailor-made for school students by the Securities and Exchanges Board of India (SEBI) and the National Centre for Financial Education

Student Interview: Grade 8

Young exuberant students

To memories that count!

A young boy from Grade 9 shares his experience as a part of this engaging session. They learned about financial decision-making and about becoming financially secure. This also included insights on government schemes.

Snippets of the session. Everyone has a different understanding of money and we have tried to explore the concept of money. Financial literacy is a necessary concept and financial awareness must be uplifted.

A few clicks from our session at the Valley Public School. These aren't just pictures, these are the stories of the young students in such tier 3 cities where they strive to learn despite the barriers that exist in these remote areas.
